Quinta Real Monterrey

"This beautiful hotel needs a little love and some new energy. The hallway carpet is dark, the room itself smelled aged, damp, and of old cigarettes. The design of the room, the furniture, and all of the marble in the bathroom is a nod to finer times. It would be amazing to see this hotel remove the old carpeting and window treatments and let some natural light in. The beds were cozy, the large screen TV was great and the shower and robe were the highlights. We regrettably ate at the hotel and it was expensive and not tasty. We swam in the cold pool and the pool area had not been cleaned in hours. There were used towels and empty glasses all around. Overall, the location is great, the front desk was not friendly but the valet and waitstaff really did exceptional work. We probably will return because the old beauty of the place is so charming."

"Clean. Affordable. Everything we needed. 2nd time in this hotel and it was just what we needed. Everything was very clean. The beds are comfy. It includes a very nice continental breakfast with hot food options. We would definitely come back again."
