"Thoroughly satisfied with this spacious motel which provided all the needs after a long 8 hour drive. Room was warm, beds were comfortable and importantly the shower had good pressure with hot water. The check in staff were friendly helpful an courteous. This motel will be the first to return to when visiting Armidale again. Highly recommend. "

"The decor is dated and a bit kitschy but is well kept and I love all the little touches such as interesting magazines and chocolates on the bed. Very comfy mattress and pillows. I travel for work and this place is my go to, Its affordable and I feel cosy, comfortable and safe after a long day. The proprietor is lovely and clearly cares about his guests experience!"

Convenient location a couple of blocks from the main shopping area.
Highly recommend The Cottage Restaurant and Bar one block away along Barney Street. We got there late with no booking and they were very accommodating and the food was excellent."

We had a lovely two course meal; a seafood pasta dish as a starter for both of us and then I had the pork loin with veges and my husband had duck breast. Both were well prepared and tasty. We shared a bottle of the winery’s verdehllo and a bottle of sparkling water. The prices were very reasonable and we had a thoroughly enjoyable...
