"Hotel is a 15 minute walk from the centre of Bologna which is very handy. It was on a quiet road. Rooms are a bit dated but had a classic feel. Check in was very easy, the receptionists were lovely."

When it didn't seem to be working, I called the front desk and they informed me that the air conditioner did not work until June. So I basically could not sleep all night due to the unpleasantness of the climate. in the room"

"Very disappointed that the policy was no air-conditioning although the room got over 84°F during the day. At night it didn’t cool down much more. If you left the windows open to cool down at night you had insects fly in. They should change their policy that if it’s over 75 Fahrenheit outside, they should turn the power on to the air-conditioning regardless of it being spring. No fans were offered for air flow. The hotel is convenient to stay for Marinello but if it’s hot, I would stay somewhere else with working air-conditioning."
