"What an amazing stay. Grand, elegant and tastefully restored farmhouse set in immaculate grounds. Our hosts, Helen and Jean were so welcoming and gave us do many useful ideas about places and restaurants to visit. We loved the breakfast with homemade jams, French toasts and local delicacies in a sublime outdoor setting. An amazing stay in a beautiful room and would definitely recommend a stay and would love to return."

"The place was locked up when I arrived and had to wait 15 minutes for the proprietor to open the door! Very worn room which needed a refurb as did the whole place to be honest! Inaccurate listing details: there is no restaurant, just a bar, so no food. Not one of my better choices but the pictures and details do look a lot better than the reality."

"I gave this hotel 3 stars purely because of it's inconvenient location, otherwise the hotel was a very good budget stop-over, typical of French motels, clean and well maintained with secure on-site parking. The lady on reception was super-nice, very helpful with good English. This is definitely not a tourist hotel due to it's location. "Hôtel un peu désuet mais acceptable pour une nuit. Proche de la gare (même à pied) et du centre ville. Chambre sur petite rue hyper calme. PDJ buffet à 10 euros avec beaucoup de choix (vu le prix !). Je recommande."

"Beautiful location. Close to the city but still very quiet with beautiful views of the countryside. Food at the restaurant is not cheap but worth it. The room was disappointing though. Good size but very bare. Not enough space for clothes, no coffee or tea and noisy old air con. Nothing that felt superior. Breakfast is a mixed bag. Good quality ingredients but limited choice of bread (one!) and tinned salad fruit. This is also the only one place I have been where you have to prepare your own...
