My husband remembered seeing a sign that said Paradise Resort, and we back to it. If is off-season, and restaurant was closed for remodeling. However, the hotel is 1.9 km away from the city center where there are plenty of cafes, tapas, restaurants and bars. There are also some eating places close to the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and spoke English....

A big problem during my stay was that the hotel advertised as keeping the outdoor pool open till 28 September, but they closed the pool on 21 September (which was disappointing as it was 30 degree sunshine everyday) and one of the staff members was quite rude in her approach. It meant no guests staying this week could sit around the pool because they decided to change their terms...
"I was not a fan of this hotel. How does a hotel not have blankets on a bed? That is very odd to me. I had to ask three times for blankets for the bed. No one "staffed" the cafe/ bar area. If you wanted anything, you had to go to front desk and ask for help. There were no ice machines. If I wanted ice, I had to ask for it and it was like you were asking for some special request item. The restaurant on site was only open for dinner from 8-10. I guess that's normal for Spain, but it was...
"The Front Desk manager was extremely helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was nice with bacon, sandwiches, fruits, breads and comparable with others we had in Spain. Attached subterranean parking garage is convenient. Hotel lobby/atrium, dining area are very nicely decorated. Even though the hotel is technically in Villa Seca, it was close enough to easily drive into Tarragona. The Air Conditioning was fine."
