The hotel is old, needs to be remodeled. Horrible sewage smell coming from the bathroom, and urine smell outside of the hotel. The shower water is either freezing cold, or burning hot it switches immediately, maybe because we were on the 3rd floor. Got burned few times. Dirty cushions on the roof pool with stains. Staff was really friendly, that was the only good thing, and good location but very loud.

We had an amazing stay at the Sophia hotel! We spent two nights here, and it was a very quiet area but still close and walkable to everything in El Centro. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the rooftop pool bar was beautiful with a great view of the city. The best part was the service, everyone on the staff was so nice and accommodating, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
