"After a week on a river boat, we booked a night at Hartley House and thoroughly enjoyed it. We felt right at home and the hostess, Kate was remarkable in how she went above and beyond in order to meet our needs. This is the true Ireland in an old, historic house in a quiet country area. "I got the room which is very far from elevator. It took me about 200 steps to walk. the walkway is getting narrower once you walk further."

"Nice fresh room with good size comfortable bed but very small shower room. The facilities are good and there is a car park at extra charge. Very central for Sligo. We did eat in the restaurant but did have a drink in the bar ( barman could have a little training in customer service nothing bad but a little blunt). I would recommend and will stay again. "

"I found this property to be very conveniently located. And all of the staff are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. The one thing I would say is to be aware that electricity and power at this location are not as updated as other hotels on the east side of Ireland and to be prepared and feel comfortable to ask questions as I did. From check-in to check out every question I had was answered far beyond what I needed to know and I greatly appreciated all the help."
