"The resort is great. The staff is friendly and the “small town” type atmosphere lends to a great stay away. Our cabin was extremely clean and spacious! Would definitely come back!"

"This is a nice unique sprawling property. I have stayed there many times and love the character of the place. I’m pretty sure it changed hands a few years ago and the new owners are in top of making it better…"
"Well I thought for my stay the waterpark was included which was not i had to pay $64.07 for my kids and me to enjoy the waterpark which it should be included with the stay. I paid over $530 something for the entire time I was there and the room was only $347 only stayed one night with two kids but over paid in my opinion. I think what should say is in big letters so people will know WATERPARK IS NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY so others dont get confused like me. Stay was great and nice thank you Michael the front dest guy was really nice and super helpful so was i think Tammy one of the people at the waterpark at the slides I wasnt happy with she let two girls go down the slide without a tube and told my two girls they had to have a tube to go down the big slide then I watched the same little girls go down that same slide 5 different times and my girls asked yet again and she told them no they had to have a tube so wasnt happy about that either the girl at the arcade she was very sweet and super nice and im sorry if I was a little rude when the dude cut in front of my kids and me that was a little rude the guy at the waterpark that checks people in he was great and super nice and the chick making food she was amazing as well we did have a great time not going to lie but I think I over paid and I got my $50 back too."
"The hotel closed permanently without notice and somehow our group was still able to make reservations both through hotels.com and the hotel website itself smh"
"Checking in was a nightmare. When we arrived we found out that they no longer have staff on site. Check in is done via a QR code on the door of the vending machine/ ice machine room where I assume the office used to be. We had received no information from the property managers for a door code or room assignment number, and having never stayed there assumed it would be given to us when we arrived like most hotels. Having no one there to help us we proceeded to call the phone number on the door to contact the property management. Calls went immediately to voice mail and we would receive a text several minutes later. The initial text said we should have received a text or email with our room number and door code, but we never received either. When I explained we had made the reservation through Hotels.com we were eventually texted a room number and door code. However this room was occupied. I sent a text back and the reply asked who was texting them even though we had just corresponded through text. We were assigned another room which was also occupied. We were eventually assigned an unoccupied room after almost 45 minutes after we had arrived. The room itself was clean, however the wall switch for the fan in the bathroom was off with exposed wires and there was no chain on the door. Unless they can sort out their booking procedures and keep accurate information on which rooms are booked and which rooms are not, I would not recommend staying at this hotel."
