The owner and his partner were very friendly and sent us recommendations even though we only stayed one night. Messina is gorgeous so we’ll go back. "You should not book this place if you do not plan to cook daily. It is just like a studio ( kitchen with a bed and a sofa in the same room). The room is very plain with no decoration. Other than check in frond desk, there is no service like hotel. Even front desk, the door is locked with no body before 9:00am. Someone will send you breakfast but all cold pre order grocery items. It really is just a self serviced studio apartment. Not sure where the 4 star rating coming from. I only can give 2.5...
