The staff was extermely friendly and helpful. They fixed the onlh issue i had in a matter of minutes, just with a faulty tv remote. The pool tables, gym, and cafeteria were unexpected amenities. And for dinner they offered a half rack of ribs, mashed potatoes, broccoli, full size salad, and desert all for $20. Highly recommend.

This property is very unique in that it is a secure gated compound surrounded by a security fence and requires a code to enter. (Use the phone number in the gate if you don’t have the code…the office answers promptly). Once inside the compound, the registration office is also unique as it is constructed of shipping containers. The facility is divided into two sections, one a full service RV park and the other rows of mobile homes. Each Mobil Home contains 4 rooms with a shared kitchen and sitting area between the rooms. I was the only occupant of the unit containing my room. Very clean and very secure. Overall, very interesting location, friendly service and I will definitely return in the future.

🇺🇸 English Review I was initially surprised when I arrived at Ellipse Global Lodge in Carlsbad, NM. I was expecting a typical hotel, and seeing it was a camp-style setup almost made me turn around and look for a more traditional place. But something told me to give it a chance — and I’m very glad I did. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel welcome from the start. The entire property is spotless, very well maintained, and extremely clean. I stayed in one of the trailer homes, and I was honestly impressed. It felt like a full apartment: spacious, bright, and fully equipped. Inside, there was a complete kitchen with stove, microwave, two refrigerators, a dining area, a nice living room with a big TV, and even laundry facilities on-site. The bedroom was super clean, well-lit, comfortable, and spacious — it truly felt like staying in a real home rather than a temporary lodging. Highly recommended if you're open to a different kind of experience. Loved the location, it was private and away from everything, very quiet and peaceful. The woman who checked me in was really nice, and gave recommendations for things to do in the area. At the time of my booking, the site did not specify that you are sharing a home with other people, so I wasn't expecting that. It turned out okay, but in case the description isn't updated, it's something to be aware of. You have a room to yourself with a private bathroom and a locking door. Kitchen area is shared. The person I was put with apparently lives there. Her cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There were constantly dirty dishes in the sink, and because of this, fruit flies everywhere. I killed between 10-15 in my room in the three nights I was there. I walked into the kitchen one time and when she saw me she screamed, and when I tried saying hello she just turned her back and ignored me. I felt out of place and like I couldn't come to the common area because of her reaction. I understand that's her "home", but I also paid to be there and felt like I had to sneak around. The other issue was the air conditioning. I was hot, so I turned it down. She turned it back up. I woke up sweating, so turned it back down. This was back and forth the entire stay. Maybe a window unit in each of the rooms, or at least a fan, would be a good idea so each person can be comfortable. I would consider another stay, but may be better if you had a group so you'd be in a space with people you know.

This facility is unuque and staying experience itself was good. But I cannot help feeling followings need to be considered. - The access code to open the entrance gate was not given, so I asked the people who was waiting to enter next in the line to me. Initially I thought I missed the access code that would had been sent to me by email or text earlier. But I still cound not find any email or text letting me know the code. What would happen if I was the only one at the gate because I arrived late? - There are many lodges in the vast area. At the check-in the staff could not tell me where the lodge (room) was located because the staff was recently employed. At least map of the area needs to be prepared. I was forced to walk around to find the lodge in the dark.
