Talbot hotel carlow stay

Everything was very good, very clean, room was spotless, bed very comfortable, had great sleep 😴 breakfast was excellent plenty of variety, nicely presented and hot food nice and hot, we enjoyed our stay and will be back for a longer stay, staff very helpful and friendly especially receptionist, thank you

Lovely hotel, i have stayed here several times. Staff are really nice. Breakfast was a disgrace as it is one set price so we paid €27 for cereal x 2, tea x 2, toast and yoghurt. The cereal was also a cheap brand and it was stale.

Handle fell of my room door as I entered it. In all fairness to the staff they went above a beyond after I reported it, they got me a new room, restaurant was very good staff were brilliant. Will stay here again when in the area.

Really large rooms, comfortable beds, great fitness facilities and lovely breakfast. Next door to a huge Dunnes and other convenient stores. A bit of a walk from the town centre but a great option if you’re exploring the area. North Americans will appreciate the large rooms and easy parking!

Nice stay overall bedroom decent but Bathroom could do with upgrade...Bar excellent,comfortable with really good lunch and dinner...lobby area nicly finished but hallways to rooms need attention and new carpets..breakfast wasnt great with very little left at 945 when breakfast served til 10.30 ...overall nice stay but does need improvements in areas

The hotel staff were great, there were some maintenance issues in both rooms i stayed in room 309, the toilet pan is badly stained with lime scale and the faucet is loose on the vanity unit, Room 108 - the toilet pan is loose from the mounting bracket in the wall and the wall tiles have cracked because of that
