The bed was super comfortable, and the location could not have been more perfect. "This historical property is absolutely beautiful and amazing. The age means the rooms are a bit tight, the windows shook in the high winds that night, and I would have loved some conditioner in the room, but other than that everything was great. Wonderful, elegant bar area and the French restaurant was top notch. If you are coming to see Coimbra, drive a little further and stay at Bussaco Palace... very reasonable rates considering where you are staying. Also tour the attached convent for 3 euros more... worth it as well. Highly recommend!"
