Fantastic welcome from Lulu and Orwell. We were upgraded to a lovely big suite. The hotel is lovely, great staff, beautiful pool area and good breakfasts. This was our 4th stay and we would return in a heartbeat!

Excellent Hotel

Excellent location across the road from the V&A Waterfront. Although we did eat breakfast once at the sister hotel (Victoria & Alfred) which is on the waterfront, we preferred the Manor House for its boutique feel and calm atmosphere. The location is completely safe which enabled us to walk around without concern day or night. Excellent breakfast.

The Victoria hotel at matta house is a perfect small five-star hotel right across the street from the marina where there are multiple restaurants and shops. Rooms and service were excellent. Recommended to anyone.

Perfect stay in Dock House. Everything about the hotel & facilities are excellent & the staff really do go the extra mile to make the stay special. The location is perfect for Waterfront & we would definitely recommend.

We were upgraded to the Dock House & had a lovely big room & bathroom looking over to the waterfront. The small breakfast room was beautifully presented with fantastic flower displays & the staff could not do enough for you.

Top notch hotel in a great location. The V&A Waterfront provides a very safe walkable area with lots of shops, restaurants and entertainment options (boat trips, tours). The hotel staff at Queen Victoria is top notch in all respects- courtesy, helpfulness and desire to do anything they can to make your stay in the city/country as good as possible.

The hotel was well equipped so comfortable and clean, its proximity to the main road meant it was very noisy in our room and the swimming pool, the staff were very friendly and so helpful although there weren’t enough staff for breakfast service and at the bar early evening

Everything was in fabulous condition and the staff were extremely friendly. Despite Cape Town being a somewhat dangerous destination at the moment, I felt very safe and taken care of at the hotel, given proper guidance on activities and how to enjoy the surrounding area. Honeymoon Garden Route

First stop en route up the garden route for our honeymoon and couldn’t have got off to a better start. The hotel itself is amazing very modern with all the amenities you could ask for. The staff were very attentive and friendly can not speak highly enough of all involved with the hotel. The breakfast as well was amazing and set us up perfectly every morning for the rest of the day
