Tranquil environment

The facility is lovely, beautiful view of the mountain, tranquil environment and Cindy is an awesome hostess. The only negative was that there was no plug point at a mirror for my hair dryer...if I missed it, I apologise :)

Beautiful guest house with amazing staff!

We loved our very comfortable room with its own patio set in the immaculate gardens with a lovely pool, heaven after a day out! Breakfast was excellent! Cindi and Melody were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It was a real home from home and we hope to be back again soon.

Couldn't be more helpful

This is a small BandB in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The location was very convenient for me to visit my mother in the Melomed hospital in Tokai. It is also close to the Constantiaberg medical centre and, provided you have a car, is a good base for exploring pretty much anywhere in Cape Town. There are several good restaurants within 2-3 km. My room was spacious with a double bed, bathroom , two comfortable chairs and a small desk. With French doors onto the pool terrace and good wifi, it was a perfect place from which to work in between hospital visits. The staff could not be more helpful and provided me with an extra desk light as well as a pool lounger. Breakfast was consistently excellent - buffet with cereals, fruit juices, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, rolls, cheeses plus a choice of cooked breakfasts. Overall, excellent and terrific value.

Ideal location for central Cape Town

A fabulous 12 night stay in Paradiso. A warm greeting awaited us along with spotlessly clean and sizeable accommodation. Our garden room had superb views of the mountain and the gardens were beautifully manicured. There was an abundance of garden furniture giving plenty of shade if needed and sun loungers on the patio with fresh pool towels daily. The pool sparkled. The small fridge was a disappointment but ice was always available when needed. There was a portable braii for guests to use and although we weren't self catering, crockery,cutlery and anything else we needed was also readily available. Our hosts- Melody, Cindy and Leonard - worked tirelessly to make our stay a very memorable one - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious and we loved the red rose with breakfast on Valentines Day.

Charming getaway

The Paradiso Guest House is a wonderfully charming place to stay. Quiet, excellent hosts, clean rooms and a delicious breakfast. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay.

Great place for my wedding party

Our wedding guests booked this place with us and it was great to have all our friends in one place. The guest house is very nice and accommodating. There are a variety of rooms and the ones with kitchens are really nice for when you want to stay in and cook. I highly recommend Paradiso!

We loved the seclusion, the privacy and absence of foot traffic. The hosts were hospitable and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable and the rates affordable. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Nice place..

The guesthouse was very charming, but we ended up with staying "off-site" at an appartment a 10min drive away. That was a bit of a let-down, although it was a nice and safe 2 bedroom apartment (but we only needed one room). But the ladies running the guesthouse we met were friendly and helpful and it's reasonable.

Nice Stay but Poor Location

First we were not staying in the main guest house, so it meant a 3km drive for breakfast every morning from our apartment, Bordeaux. It was a well kep apartment, friendly staff but not a great location base for seeing Cape Town from.

Very nice place

Great place to stay, and I got a super deal because I was traveling during winter. The owners were super nice and helpful. Unfortunately I had to cut my stay short because the internet connection was not fast enough for me to log onto business meetings I had to attend online, but for someone who is not looking for a super fast internet connection this is a great place to stay!
