Nice Place In the Mountains

While the cottage was very pretty and the grounds were beautiful, there could have been just a little more information on the lack of ANYTHING in the cottage. Yes there was a 1 X 2 inch bar of soap, but outside of that, there were no basics that you would assume: salt, pepper, sugar, coffee or tea. The explanation was that people tend to steal these things. However, on a brighter note, the cottage was immaculately cleaned daily and the security staff were very friendly. Overall a good experience, but they really need to step it up a bit.

Well maintained self catering accommodation

Our stay at Houtkapperspoort was relaxing and enjoyable. The only problem is the very slow wi-fi, but we understand this is being improved. The setting near Constantia, Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch Gardens is perfect.

Great location for visiting many area of Cape Town

It was a very quiet restful location. It was ike living amongst the French Alps. The cottage was great and we were astonished by the whole Cape experience . This is a must do thing for those of us to do as the real tourist sites are better than any photograph...and they drive on 'our ' side of the road !
