From entering to when we left we could not fault this place. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, easy to chat with and really couldn't do enough for you. We felt like we were treated so well during our stay Our room was fantastic, right next to the pool, bathroom was lovely with a good powerful shower Pool are was great to cool down in from a warm day out wine tasting. Breakfast was sensational, the choice was fantastic and always so well presented, the cheese board was awesome If ever back I would not hesitate to go back there to stay

From our welcome drinks to our delicious breakfasts to all the expert and gracious assistance with our wine tours and restaurant reservations, they made our stay beautiful and memorable and special! We had the most wonderful stay at Flour du Soleil in Franschhoek – total comfort and convenience from start to finish. The accommodation was stylish, spotless, and incredibly cosy – we felt right at home the moment we arrived. The service was exceptional – warm, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful without ever being over the top. Every little detail was taken care of, which made it all so easy and relaxing. A perfect base for exploring Franschhoek – we’ll absolutely be back!

The room was spacious and the bathroom we had was almost as big as the rest of the room. The team were amazing - able to handle requests at last minute, the breakfast was delicious. The bar was well stocked, loved the honour system concept. Very close to the high street, but far enough away for the noise.

A beautiful place with the greatest staff

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place is beautiful, cozy and intimate, while at the same time gives a feeling of comfort and luxury. Everything you want from a luxurious guesthouse. The staff was super friendly and kind. Especially when we had a little run-in with some illness. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to experience Franschhoek to stay at this guesthouse if possible.

Prettig voor een kort verblijf

Het is een kleinschalig guesthouse met 5 kamers Wij zaten in de kleinste kamer (Cabane) en die was echt wel krap. De badkamer was verouderd en ook krap. Maar er werd ons verteld dat de kamer en badkamer in juni 2023 worden vergroot en gerenoveerd. Mocht je hier langer willen verblijven dan is het aan te raden om om een suite te vragen. Er is een klein zwembadje met 5 zeer comfortabele ligbedden. Er is weinig schaduw. Je kunt de hele dag en nacht drinken pakken uit je eigen mini bar of uit de bar van het guest house. Het ontbijt moet je een dag van te voren bestellen en dat wordt pas voor je klaargemaakt als je aan de ontbijttafel komt zitten. Het duurt 20 tot 30 minuten voordat alles (incl je eitje) wordt gebracht. Ik denk dat voor deze optie is gekozen om het een exclusiever karakter te geven, maar wij preference een ontbijtbufetje waar meer keuze is en wat sneller gaat. Al met al hebben wij hier een prettig verblijf gehad.
