We had to take a ferry in the dark to get here at sunrise. They only do this at certain times during the year. I love chasing the sunrise. #adventure

Bulls Island, at 5,000 acres, is the largest of four barrier islands found within the Cape Romain NWR. The island consists of maritime forest, fresh and brackish water impoundments, salt marsh, and sandy beaches. If you like to explore nature this is for you. The boat drops off in the morning and noon. Hiked all day and played on the beach.

Hike a mile across the island and find your self on a beautiful beach alone. The Bone Yard is something to see with the waves rolling over it's old bleached trees. Tired of the tourist attractions then you will love Bulls Island.

Watching the sunrise on Bull island is must do, no cars allowed. Go enjoy the peace and quiet. #adventurephotocontest #adventure
