"We booked this hotel so our granddaughters could swim. We always bring snacks into the pool area. However, a staff member came in, and very rudely said, “ hey food isn’t allowed in here!” There isn’t a sign on the pool door nor any sign inside the pool area. We are frequent travelers and we always clean up after. Sadly we will not be return guests "

"Toilet was plugged when we arrived. Coffee but no coffee pot, they said not all rooms have pots, dah. No help from the staff at all, very lazy."

"Hot tub was out of order. Blood on the head board, disgusting fan, none of the surfaces were wiped down. The fridge was dirty. Shower had hair in it. The staff don’t say hello or acknowledge you when you walk in. "

"There was a large amount of visible black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom in our first room. There was a medium amount of black mold on the ceiling of the second room they put us in. There was no visible mold in the bathroom of the third room, but that is probably because they simply changed out the drop ceiling panels in the shower area. The third room still smelled as moldy as the first two."

"Only stayed 1 night, so I didn't have a need for EVERYTHING the cabin had: small stove & oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, kitchen sink, and small supply of dishes & silverware...but it's nice to have it if you need it! The mattresses were too soft for my liking, but that's personal preference. Cabin was very clean and quiet. If you like cajun food, Cafe Zydeco is a short 1 1/2 block walk from the property...delicious food!!"
