"Really nice place to stay. We stayed here impromptu during a road trip through BC. We're more than happy we picked here to visit The place was extremely quiet and very nice, plus we had almost free reign to get a sea view and watch the Canada day fireworks The hosts were super accomodating and looked after us well And the incded breakfast was excellent. I was thinking the hotel would be kitschy and dated but it was absolutely not! It was a great balance of historic and modern, very clean, not dated, adorable little storybook/fairytale theme. "The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...

"Room was clean, a few stains on pillowcases that should be replaced, some chips and marks in the shower/tub that could be patched up, room was sufficient for our needs, the staff was lovely the breakfast was ok, a fair bit of options, pool was little but kids still liked it. Some maintenance would go a long way in improving the look of the place, but it was clean and the beds are comfortable."

"The rooms were disgusting. I had hair on my sheets. A bug squashed on the wall. The bed was lumpy. The cabinets old looking. Toilet paper holder was rusty and put on wall with any old screw. To top it off it cost over $150.00 a night"

"Love this place - check in took 2 seconds compared to 1/2 hr. at other hotels. Straight to my room and everything was clean, comfy, good wifi and tv. No coffee maker but a microwave and pop machine with snacks. Yes hallway carpets stained but not a Plus pets are FREE. Thank you for the no frills no b.s. check in. I'll be back!"

"I have been dealing with a staff member since we left this location on June 6. They continue to say and promise me something as it had been “manager approved “ but still nothing. Beware of staying here, as they will say whatever you want to hear to get you to come, but won’t follow through. Worst IHG location I have ever had to deal with, which is sad. Staff has been not easy to deal with in person and on the phone."

"In future it wouldn't be my first choice for accommodation due to the busy area and difficulty parking. I have a handicap, and no suitable parking was available, and had to park some distance from the front."

Was unable to speak to the manager. Refused to reimburse me for my booking. DO NOT BOOK HERE - once you book you will not get your money back if you cancel."
