Excellent breakfast; spotless facility; very friendly and helpful staff all in a beautifully restored 1890s home
We loved our stay here! The hostess went above and beyond, the room was gorgeous, and breakfast was delicious. We'd make a trip back to Rockland just to stay here again.
Beautiful bed and breakfast. Early 1900’s home with rich history. Each room was decorated nicely and very comfy. The staff was extremely nice and had great suggestions in and out of the surrounding towns. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Still thinking about the crème brûlée French toast. Would love to stay here again in the future.
We had a great stay here! The inn was adorable, and Ashley was lovely. The breakfast was delicious as well. Walkable to Main Street. Had a wonderful time, thank you for everything!
The Inn was a beautiful Victorian home that was quiet and clean. The breakfast each morning was delicious. The owner and hostess was friendly, a great cook, and full of good information regarding things to do in the area.
I booked fairly last minute for 3 nights. Wonderful stay. Very close to Rockland center with everything you might need. Beautiful accommodations, delicious breakfasts, very comfortable. Ashley and her team went out of their way to make this a lovely visit.
I loved this beautiful, quiet, clean home!
Ashley did an outstanding job at welcoming us, giving us the where to go's and made our stay perfect!
The room was perfect, clean and quiet. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and yummy. The grounds are beautiful, walkability to town was easy.
Farnsworth Art museum was an easy walk and very worthy.
A very, very nice place to stay. Perfect location between Bar Harbor and Portland.
I loved it, thank you Ashley and team.
Ashley has created and run a delightful b&b on an amazing property, and in a central walkable location of Rockland! We sat on the veranda sipping wine (we brought) in the evening before walking to one of several excellent nearby restaurants. The house itself provides a visit back to a golden age of life in America. Oh yes, the breakfast was superb! Thanks again Ashley!
Lovely, clean, very well cared for, plenty of parking. Only minor issue is there no place to put items (e.g., a desk or table), although there was a huge armoire wardrobe. There was nowhere to hang things up. Ashley, the owner, was very helpful
We had a fantastic one night stay at the LimeRock Inn! Though we booked last minute, we were warmly welcomed with every possible provision made for us. The room as well as the premises were very lovely and accommodating. The homemade breakfast was delicious. And the many thoughtful touches throughout the inn did not go unnoticed by my husband and I. We’d highly recommend staying here and splurging for the turret room.Thank you for our beautiful stay! :)
The Lime Rock Inn at Rockport in Maine is a must! It is a homey bed & breakfast furnished and decorated with excellent taste. It is ideal for a couple's trip. My husband and I walked only a few blocks to main avenue, which is lined up with art galleries, restaurants, and the local movie theatre. We drove only a few minutes to the light house and did the long walk to reach it with a wonderful view of the bay! Reception at the Lime Rock Inn as soon as we arrived was warm and professional. We sat on the porch and coming from a large city, really enjoyed the stillness and historical feeling of it all. I will definitely return.
Liked book about property history and islands… loved linens and local product samples and breakfast. Could be improved: the quality of the snacks was not consistent with the overall excellence of the property…. Surprised that the temperature in each room could not be individually controlled.
