"This place is such a gem. My parents had been coming here since the mid 70s nearly every year for their anniversary or birthdays. It was their special place . Sadly, 2021 was the last time for them. But the memories are still cherished by my mother. This year my partner and I were attending a wedding in San Simeon. She suggested we stay at the Cambria Shores Inn. All I can say is that now I know why my parents loved this place so much. Charming staff and the type of Attention and detail that is rarely found these days. We will definately be back here to make some mote of our own memories. Location amd view are A+, the morning breakfast baskets are a very nice touch to go along with all of the other charming aspects."

"Room was great, but could use a larger mirror or full length mirror I the room. Also maybe a larger trash can in the room. I had a double queen room, no patio, but would love to come back to a room with ocean view and patio. Great place!"

"I have stayed at the Bluebird multiple times. It’s definitely a motel. No real amenities other than shampoo/cond/body wash in the showers. It is nice they have mini fridges and microwaves in each room. No a/c so be aware it gets stuffy in the room even w windows open. There is an overhead fan but it can only do so much. Staff is always wonderful. Tana was so helpful at check in. I love the location of the motel for convenience. Walkable to all of East Cambria. You could walk to West but it’s a hike. Beds are not super comfy so I wouldn’t stay more than one or two nights, honestly."
