"Absolutely stunning and perfect in every way. We couldn’t have been happier with our 5 night stay here. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect and the breakfast was amazing too. Such a beautiful looking hotel and in a great location with lots of restaurants nearby too. Only 15 minute walk to central Funchal. If we come back to Madeira we would book here again 100%."

"We had an amazing holiday. The Pestana Carlton hotel location, the breakfasts evening buffet and staff were just perfect. Our room was clean comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. We enjoyed the late afternoon sunshine on our balcony."

"Fabulous hotel. We splashed out on a sea view suite and it was well worth the extra. The hotel is split either side of a road with a bridge walkway so it made a real difference being on the coast side, overlooking the pool. The room size was generous for two friends sharing. With a lovely kitchenette area that was exceptionally equipped; toaster, fridge, hob, dishwasher, everything you need if you want to do the odd meal in your room…… not that you’d need to. The bar/restaurant on site was good and not over priced, and there were so many great restaurants within walking distance. The pool area was lovely, plenty of shaded spots and easy access directly into the sea. Overall, we had the most wonderful mini break. Definitely worth spending on the suite!!!!"
