Overcrowded and noisy hotel. It's not peaceful place. Breakfast is just ok. Hotel plays music till 11 and even if you want to sleep in your room music won't be stopped. MLM group events happen everyday and staff is unable to handle them. These Groups stay in hotel for one day and next morning they start there team building exercises@5:30 am. You can hear it all while you are in your room. Bad hotel to stay for peaceful or relaxation holidays.

Neelam The Grand - Awsome location

Thanks to Mr. Nagraj (from Neelam The Grand ) Overall ,it was an awsome stay in this Hotel ,we enjoyed our trip . And Neelam The Grand ,played an important role in this - : ) . As we checked in ,we were alloted those rooms ,which we never thought or which was promised . Then after complaining ,they tried to find some other room ,but in that AC was not working . I called hotel.com , they explained to hotel.com that we have only this room available and this is the only one in our deal . I talked to the Head or the person who was managing all in that Hotel about the rooms ,and i told him that i can pay extra but i will stay in those rooms ,then we saw different rooms ,we selected other room .But after the conversation he agreed to give that room without any extra charge , and after that it was a pleasure staying in that hotel . If i neglect the check-in experience ,i fopund this hotel as one of the best hotel in Goa ,specially about the location .

I'll go there again!

Loved every minute of the stay. It was just one night, but the service was wonderful, the room was clean and spacious and the food was excellent. One small point, i asked for a room with a bathtub, but didn't get one.

I arrived at around 2am, there was no one at the reception for my checking as the hotel manger on duty was asleep on the sofas, his colleagues tried to wake him and he told them to go away even though he seen me stood at the desk, then eventually he got up to check me in after some time. The pool was really dirt it looked like it was full of oil you could not see the bottom of the pool, room service food was always cold and of poor quality which often left me with an upset stomach. The lamp in my room was not working, the air conditioner was also not working for the first 4 days. There was no swim up bar in the pool as advertised, breakfast buffet room was too smokey to sit in. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it. I added my friend onto the booking and discussed this several times with Expedia who confirmed my friend had been accepted to the room booking by the hotel, however when myself and friend Reyes to enter the hotel she was told she was not allowed in, I explained to the manager that this hotel had confirmed that she was able to stay and had proof, despite showing several emails from the hotel and Expedia the manager refused to let her enter, this problem went on for around an hour and again I had to call Expedia and tomallow them both to discuss the problem I was having. Eventually the manager aloud my guest to stay, he was rude and really hard to reason with. Wifi reuquires a pass word at least every 7 hours so you have to go back and forth.

Its a ok hotel for the price . Not a good .

I had a very bad experience. The food was bad . They chef was stupid i asked him fried fish he gave me fish with lots of red mirchi powder in it. I don't know what he was thinking. The staff were stupid. The room was wrongly alotted to me i had to run here and there to get it rectified. Wrong property. Wrong price. Wrong place. Wrong food.

Worth to stay

This property is nice to stay with decent rooms and available services. Its in the heart of Calangute beach area,near to Baga and Candolim beachs as well. We reached on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi when whole Goa was on leave and busy in celebration, which affected the services of this hotel too.As they couldn't send airport pick up(as promised earlier) on the day of arrival, they have reimbursed the Airport taxi fare for the same. Break fast buffet was very sumptuous and filling. Except few service glitches,we got very satisfactory service by Neelam's The Grand.

My "HOLI"-Day in Goa.

I planned my travel on Holi. Started from Pune early in morning and when I reached Goa it was all Hot and Humid and barely felt like doing anything. After checking-in and going through the lobby to my room by pool side..that small walk itself took almost half of my tiredness. Room was BIG, clean and cozy. Loved the beds :) Variety of food in menu, room service, resto-bar and Buffet breakfast are all very good. and top of all the locality, its soo close to Calangute beach and other tourists places that you never feel like "not" being able to plan and do something. Its like everything can be done. My thumbs up for the hotel and hotels.com for making this trip an unforgettable memory in my life.

Für den Preis hätten wir etwas mehr erwartet für Indien.Der Pool war nicht gerade einladend. Auch das Frühstücksangebot (Continental) fanden wir sehr dürftig., nach dem zweiten mal haben wir unser Frühstück anderswo gegessen.Das Personal war eher zurückhaltend. Hätten gerne auch andere Kopfkissen gehabt, aber nach 3x fragen haben wirs aufgegeben.

Better than expected

This hotel was better than I expected for a hotel is India. The room was nice and well kept. The bathroom wasn't bad but could have used more cleaning and updating. They had live music every night I was there but sometimes it went a little too late and made it hard to sleep. The staff was great and willing to keep visitors happy and the breakfast was good too, they had a lot of variety. Overall the hotel was much better looking than the others I saw in the area and is width considering.

Think Once before you select this hotel.

The stay was all "ok" except for the room cleanliness. Room was not up to the mark at all. Don't know how the hotel is rated as 3 star. 1. Restroom and living rooms were having spiders web. 2. Toilet is having yellow stains. 3. Living room wall paint is all flaky. 4. Room was stinking bad. 5. No HD channels in the TV. Not even regular channels with good clarity. 6. Water from the taps is smelling rusty. 7. Malfunctioning of the split AC. Up on bringing the above to the managers notice, he was very arrogant and did not even care to resolve the issues. Later, his manager came up with some courtesy and listened to the concerns patiently. I was informed that the hotel will undergo renovation soon. But, I still, don't understand how the hotel was rated as 3 star.

Great Place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay in Neelam's The Grand from 3rd to 6th October'2014. Staff and hospitality were great and so was the complimentary breakfast.
