We had a sporting event in Bangor, which was the cheapest option for the group. The cottage was lovely and a short drive to many places. We would stay here again.

Very friendly and welcoming stay

Arrived later than intended but was welcomed and shown around the cottage by the very pleasant host. Superb open plan living and dining areas with lots of room. Bedrooms well appointed and very cosy and comfortable. Nice outdoor area with plenty of room to explore. Already planning my next visit. Nothing was too much trouble for the superb hosts.

The cottage was quaint and cosy with comfortable furniture and everything anyone could need in terms of kitchen equipment, including an air-fryer, a slow cooker, a toaster, a microwave and a fridge-freezer. There was even sachets of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits and, on the dining table, sachets of ketchup, mayo, etc. The lovely owners had even put a bottle of Chardonnay in the fridge to welcome us, which was a lovely touch. The road approaching the property is a bit rough, so I'd advise anyone to drive very slowly. The WiFi is very patchy, but there is a warning on the wall in the cottage saying that it can be slow. So don't expect to stream films or anything. There's a nice big TV with Freeview if you want to keep up with your programmes. The property is well positioned for access to tourist attractions in the area. For families with children, there are kiddy slides, little cars, etc, as well as ponies, chickens, etc to look at and there's a BBQ and outside seating for warm, sunny days and evenings. It only takes about 10 mins in the car to Caernarfon where there are shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, etc, and of course, the amazing castle.
There's also a double bedroom, but I hadn't made up the bed as we were getting ready to leave.

Little gem in north wales

Met by the owner who made us very welcome. Property exactly as described and clean and comfortable. Ideally situated for visiting Caernarfon & Porthmadog. Would recommend and visit again.

The only problem was we took our dogs and due to not having proper fencing our dogs could get out. This does need attending to as it is a dog friendly cottage

Lovely farm stay near the beach.

Cae Berllan is in a beautiful area with lots to do. My Grandchildren loved the orchard and all the go-carts swings and sports equipment. There are also plenty of farm animals to interest them. The beach nearby is great and there is plenty else of interest. The house is well equipped, warm and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming.

Very peaceful and clean property. Lots of animals on the property. Very close to the bus stop(around 7 min walk). Hourly bus goes to caernarfon on weekdays. On Sunday the buses are worse but if you have a car/ hire a taxi it is easier.

Lovely cottage in natural surroundings

Lovely host and hostess, Mike and Anne made us feel very comfortable at Cae Berllan cottages. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities you need for a good self service holiday. Tesco is about a 5 minute drive which was very convenient for all your food and drink items. Had a few chickens and a couple of horses in the grounds which was very nice as you really feel like you're really in a natural habitat. Would highly recommend staying here for a good base to explore North Wales and the Snowdonia national park.

Idyllic stay

Our stay was wonderful! We stayed with 2 dogs and another couple and everything we needed was met with ease. There were all the usual amenities and more! The lovely owners even left a bottle of wine in the fridge for us! It was a little difficult to find but they sent a lovely email with details directions which made it easy. We had a look at the animals on site which were all lovingly cared for and the orchard was lovely for a dog walk. We stayed in winter so didnt use many of the outdoor facilities but there was a bbq and outdoor seating which would be amazing in summer. We will definately be back!

Nice short break

We spent 2 nights with the grandchildren, 11, 8 and 3. There was lots of room and the place was comfy. The kitchen had everything you need, and there was a little laundry room though we didn't need it. The grounds are great for kids, there are lots of outdoor toys and space for them to run around in. Caernarfon is about 10 minutes away by car and there are plenty of activities in a short radius, including beaches. The owners are helpful and friendly, the only issue was the weather but that is not anyone's fault. Overall a great place for a few days with kids.
