Het was een fantastisch verblijf, leuke wandeling gedaan, heerlijk huisje/kamer. Alleen viel het avondeten een klein beetje tegen. Personeel was erg vriendelijke en behulpzaam. Het hotel was zeer goed bereikbaar.

Beautiful views and surroundings around the property. the rooms were well equiped. access to the property is not very easy and the restaurant which we'd heard good things about was dissapointing especially on the second night of our stay when the food was barely warm and not particulary tasty or fresh

The lodge needs to buy a generator. When the electricity goes out, it has no back up other than (powerful) flashlights (which it distributes in advance).

Maliba lodge definitely worth a visit

Maliba lodge was a wonderful break in a beautiful setting. Loved the private viewing deck and the chalet was large and comfortable - own fireplace, verandah with loungers etc.Many walks in the area which are well signposted and cleared - upper trail a bit slippery initially. Spa tent is surprisingly well equipped inside. Food was a bit hit and miss - some dishes were outstanding, others a bit disappointing. The manager is aware of this and working to improve. We didn’t eat at the bistro. Plan to stay at least two nights to enjoy. Lesotho gets our vote for friendliest people in Africa!

Definitely not 5-star. Overpriced and poor service. Breakfast was an extra charge and such a poor offering. Dinner was expensive and mediocre. They will even charge for extra firewood for your room. Makes you feel they just out to make a buck. Don’t waste your money, rather visit the park for the day to enjoy scenery and hikes.

Beautiful location with so much potential

After driving 6+ hours to reach the lodge, we were greeted with a less than welcoming receptionist. One of the issues, she informed us that dinner was to be served from 7-10pm. We asked for an 8pm reservation initially, then decided 9pm would be best. She was not flexible and informed us that 9pm was too late after just telling us that they are open until 10pm. On a side note, the food was terrible and very expensive for what was served. All of this would not have made such an impact if the unwelcomed tone was not set from the beginning. The rest of the staff at the lodge, restaurant, cafe, and security were impeccable. The riverside lodge was not up to normal 3 star accommodation standards as listed at the hotel. Very old and outdated. Could use some repairs in the area of the bathroom which also didnt have a door for privacy.

Beautiful, relaxing hotel!

The hotel is beautiful and the views are spectacular both from the main lodge + bistro and also from the mountain chalets! The chicken at the best was delicious and we'd recommend anyone going there definitely try it! The room was wonderful and the staff were very helpful and accommodating! Would definitely recommend coming here for a weekend of relaxation.

Мною было произведено бронирование двух номеров категории Mountain Chalet в отеле Maliba Lodge 5*. Однако, при регистрации в отеле на стойке регистрации гостям сообщили, что от hotels.com получили подтверждение бронирования только одного номера категории Mountain Chalet. В результате обоим гостям пришлось разместиться в одном номере с одной двуспальной кроватью, и одному из гостей пришлось спать на полу. Отмечу, что распечатка подтверждения бронирования именно двух номеров через hotels.com не помогла. Все что рекомендовал администратор отеля - обратиться в hotels.com и требовать возврата средств за второй номер. Таким образом, утверждение hotels.com, что "Ваше бронирование гарантировано и полностью оплачено" ничего не означает и никакой гарантии не дает. При этом на протяжении нескольких дней безуспешно пытаюсь получить возврат средств от hotels.com за фактически неиспользованное бронирование.
