Patricia was a wonderful host, very friendly and she served a very tasty, home cooked breakfast.
Our room was very spacious and it had a beautiful, peaceful view over lakes and further away the sea.
ThIs B&B is set in a very peaceful setting.
A truly relaxing stay.
Lovely quiet location to base yourself for exploring South west WA. Looking oover a couple of lakes and then the sea was a great view . We booked the sea view room . The bed was comfortable for a 6 day stay and the breakfast was cooked to order . The host was very friendly and helpful with suggestions where to visit.
One thing to remember is you need a car it is truly a beach retreat and well out of town on the forest edge. This is why it is peaceful place to return to
Highly recommend staying here for a quiet night after a hectic day exploring the area
We really enjoyed our stay at Martin Fields. Our host, Patricia, made us feel welcome and we enjoyed our conversations, Great for a few days stay or overnight. A few minutes drive to the centre of Busselton. Loved the gazebo, great for relaxing and watching the antics of the water birds on the lake.Wifi was a tad slow, but ok for email.
So peaceful & a lovely outlook onto the nature reserve & sea beyond! Only a short drive from Busselton which is such a lovely town with its long jetty, lovely beach & good restaurants. Nice Marina nearby too with good Restaurant. Only 40 minutes to the Margaret River area with its stunning coastline. Patricia is a super host, it felt like home!
A little out of the way, however beautiful setting
This bed and breakfast gem is about 9kms from the town of Busselton, close enough to get there quickly, however far enough to see and hear the birds, trees rustling etc. Lovely setting. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, probably a 4 out of 5. Room was pristine in cleanliness. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very disappointed
They advertise this as a beach retreat. Not a retreat & not n the beach. This is a B&B and for $165.00 per night for a tiny room, I think I was touched.. False advertising at it's best Buyer beware!
Stayed for a one night and was perfect for a one night getaway, its about a 10 minute drive from Busellton but i enjoyed the remotness getting up in the morning and enjoying a coffee in Tranquil surroundings. The owner makes a real effort

It wasn't quite what I expected but I would stay again
Travelled from Sydney and lucky enough to book this accomodation. Stayed two nights. Thank you to Patricia and her trusty sidekick Marie for making us feel very welcome. Lots of laughs and homemade breakfasts, loved our stay! So central to Busselton and surrounding areas. Thoroughly recommend Martin Fields Beach Resort.
Enjoyed our stay at Martins Fields. Cosy room with super comfortable bed. The host was a lovely lady who had lots of local information. Delicious cooked breakfast. A little out of town but perfect if you have a car.
The setting and location are both peaceful and stunning, the grounds are well maintained and spacious. The beach is a short walk away. This contrasted with all of the other places I looked at which were closer to the Busselton. You were able to use the dinning area and lounge which made a big difference to my stay as I was there for a number of days. Patricia (the owner) is an excellent and considerate host. The breakfast was tasty and very generous. This was an ideal place to stay whilst exploring the South West, and great to come back to each evening.
Arrived at bed & breakfast house not hotel and not near beach. Very bad advertising. Owner could not be found anyway. The place looked like it was maybe being renovated but very messy outside, garden, yards in a mess. Did not stay rooms did not look good either.
Arrived at around 3pm. Staff escorted us to our room and gave us the key and details about ordering breakfast.
Left soon after for Busselton (about a 10min drive away)
Came back around 9pm. Could hear whispers of peoples' TVs as we were walking the halls and inside our room.
Went to bed after a shower and a few drinks.
Woke up and prepared to leave. Ate a continental breakfast. Bacon, bread and eggs (scrambled and poached) were top notch.
Left the keys with a member of the staff and left.
