Spent a couple of nights here. Plans changed due to sudden illness, but what better place to feel miserable than one with an exceptional oceanview? Will be back :)

Don Pancho is in a premium location. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and will be very impressive when finished. It was comfortable, good room sizes and we enjoyed a wonderful beach view. We even spotted a few whales from our balcony! The staff were all very friendly and attentive. When I visit the area in the future, I would happily stay at Don Pancho again.

Older property and our room looked updated with the exception of the bathroom. Rusted toilet paper holder, toilet smelled like backed up sewer. Mirror and vanity really old. We loved the view of the ocean/beach from the balcony. We had a ocean view studio and it was very small, but the view made up for it. Floor was tiled and seemed/felt dirty, so did not want to walk barefoot in the room. The bed was comfortable and linens were good. Quiet place and overall we enjoyed our stay. We did not use the pool or game room.

Great find at last minute due to disruption in our original plans. Awesome room steps from the sand! Bargara is such a nice, small, clean, friendly town. We feel like we lucked out with this place.

Lovely, characterful old motel. Currently undergoing a bit of renovation work, but nothing that spoiled our stay. The staff are absolutely amazing - they really cared about making sure you enjoyed your stay. The 2 bed apartments were really well equipped with very comfy beds - we immediately felt very at home and were genuinely sad to leave. Would love to return to this beautiful little seaside gem one day.

Duped again.

Parts of the property are under construction Pool closed building under repair. This was not mentioned when booking via Hotels.com. Would have booked elsewhere if notified. Staff were very friendly. Will look to site website for future bookings. The location was great.

Really liked the spa and pool, especially the fact that it was salt water. Location was great, being able to walk down the stairs to the beach. They offered free bike hire and free paddle board hire. A few negatives were when we arrived we discovered that the resort was under construction which was not mentioned when booking. We then had to navigate our way around scaffolding in a small parking lot. There was a hole in the cememt which the scaffoling was not containing properly and the front wheel of my tire went over the edge as i was trying to reverse park into a very small space. Then when i finally did park, the car next to me could not open their door. When we could not figure out where to park because it was not clearly signed we went back to ask the recrptionists who acted as if we were dumb and unimportant she did not offer any help and was abrupt. When i put a complaint in about her, the next day when we went to reception to ask to hire some equiptment she confronted us and asked why we said she was rude , then complianed to us that she had gotten in trouble with her boss due to our complaint. This made us very uncomfortable and not want to come back to this place ever again. The rooms were also very small and not what was pictured online when booking also very outdated. There was no lift which made it hard to carry luggage upstairs. One positive was that from thursday onwards there was two lovely receptionists at the desk who made up for the rude one.
