"Boulder Garden Hotel is the most beautifull hotel I have ever been to. It is located in the middle of a forest. Except for the rooms, everything is in the outside: the restaurant is located below a huge boulder, the swimming pool is in the middle of rocks. The personel is very friendly and helpfull. The food is very good and relatively cheap (our dinner was 12 USD for two). The hotel is very small: there are only 5 or 6 rooms. So nearly all of it is there for you only. I recomend it very much. 13. Grand Beach Hotel Wadduwa

Wadduwa

"Overall, the hotel has great potential, but unfortunately, it is completely untapped. The hotel has two advantages: a large pool with an ocean view and all rooms offering ocean views—of course, the higher the floor, the better the view. And that’s where the positives end. There is no service at the hotel whatsoever. Rooms are not ready on time for check-in. Contrary to the descriptions, there is no bar at the hotel. The food is „so so”, and all three meals a day are almost the same. The hotel is...

"Natscha and her assistant Ajit run this wonderful small guesthouse. If you are looking for an authentic, local experience then stay here. But, it is not that easy to get to, The road to the bungalow is largely unpaved and steep but, for us, that was all part of the attraction. The surroundings are beautiful - lush green jungle, beautiful rice paddies, local temples etc. But, if you don't have your own vehicle then it is not possible to get out at night. The cuisine is local and very good....

The hotel is newly opened and some parts are not yet operational like the ocean wing and some of its restaurants. However we loved our stay and wish to come back when the hotel has 100% occupancy. The food the room the service is a class apart. The staff delights you from the time u enter and the time you exit the hotel.. I loved the way they welcomed us with a cultural dance and bid us good bye by tying a yellow thread in our hand for a safe journey.. The best part of the hotel is...

Citrus Waskaduwa

We spent an amazing holiday at Citrus Hotel. The personnel is very friendly and accommodated our requests. Since we found Sri Lankan food too spicy, the hotel kindly prepared special (and delicious!) meals for us. The buffet offers a wide variety of options. Both the hotel and the grounds are very spacious and although the place was fully booked, it did not feel crowded. I particularly enjoyed using the gym which is well equipped and the big swimming pool. I strongly recommend the place. We...

We stayed here for 20 nights and got to know the hotel and staff pretty well. It is a great place to relax and although the ocean can be a little rough, we managed to swim everyday. Food quality is very good, especially the seafood restaurant. Same prices as local restaurants, but much better quality and hygiene. No need to leave hotel! Only gripe was music by the pool. They play the same CD over and over again. I kept telling them that people would rather listen to the waves and if the want to...
