The location and the view from my room was amazing. This place feels like the shining. The bed was decently comfortable, and the sheets looked clean. Other than that. Probably the worst room I’ve stayed in in a long time air conditioner doesn’t work half a roll of toilet paper with no spare no refrigerator although she did bring me one up to put my creamer in. I bought ice and iced it myself because none of the icemaker work

We have stayed here the last couple of 4th July weekends and have enjoyed ourselves. We have a little one so he loves the pool and the hiking path looking for the fairy houses. The staff is always kind and helpful. However, this time it was a bit of a bummer. They mentioned that they had water issues the night before so the pool and the hot tub was not full and full of bugs. A suggestion for the staff, maybe put up an out of order sign. Things happen, totally get it. But it was rough with our kiddo because the pool is typically amazing. Seriously we would be there for hours. This place is a gem in the mountains and love the nostalgia. The beds are comfy and clean.The family suite is huge and has plenty of room to play and have fun. Fingers crossed next Fourth of July everything is running smoothly!

The property was not clean in general. The room was clean and acceptable. The amenities there were none. The hot tub was dirty and the other 2 did not work. The pool was full of water but ice cold. No food or drinks in the vending machines. The restaurant was closed and not operating. The water was dirty. Went to take a bath and it was brown. So the property was not maintained professionally. Will not be booking, this property again.

Unfortunately, the property isn’t very well maintained. Sheets were clean beds not all that comfortable. Bathroom clean except for toilet. Needed a good scrubbing. The owner has done nothing to update property since it was built. They do have a pool and 2 outside hot tubs. One was not working. They have a game room, pool table, ping pong table and exercise room. Restaurant was closed due to lack of help and TVs did not work. It’s in a beautiful location. I just say shame on the owner for doing no upkeep or updates.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Monarch Mountain Lodge! They have such a friendly and helpful staff, as well as some of the most delicious pizza I've had in Colorado. Filled with rustic charm and in such a beautiful location - we will absolutely be back!
