"We’ve been staying at the Kariwak since 1993. Not much has changed. It still has a plethora of birds and tropical flowers, the staff is still amazing and the rooms are still clean. If you’re looking for luxury this isn’t for you but it’s beautiful just the same. We still love everything about it 32 years later. "

Three of the amenities that I look for in this area of the world include good A/C, strong internet and a generally quiet environment. All three were excellent. "Although the facility is a bit dated, they maintained it very well. Clean rooms, friendly staff and very attentive. The gardens are beautifully manicured; the view of the ocean is priceless - location is perfect for easy access to the island activities. Daily breakfast was quite a variety. The most outstanding part of service was the prompt attention of staff to secure our room with additional inner latches so that our autistic son could not open the doors easily on his own.
