What a fabulous hotel! We loved it! Excellent friendly and knowledgeable staff who were ever-present but not intrusive. Really made us feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and very high quality. Lovely pool. Great bar. Hotel was spotlessly clean but retained character. Our family room was gorgeous!! We will definitely be back as soon as we can!!

We had a lovely long, family weekend in Bruges, staying at Grand Hotel Normandy. The hotel was excellent, the family room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed using the swimming pool and the gym. Our children loved playing chess and connect 4 in the really nice, reception bar.

The room was comfortable. The staff was kind and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty. It was a longer walk than staying in the middle of Bruges, but definitely an easy walk. Great place to stay with kids in town

We liked the fact that the hotel was away from the busy old town but close enough to walk there in 15 minutes or so. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fine, the decor was a little dated and the furniture needed updating, but all in all it was very comfortable and fine for what we wanted.

Lovely, comfortable room - bathroom was very tiny though. Esa at check-in was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. So were all the other staff. Very good breakfast (loved the white cloth and matching cutlery). Location is very good - right next to the main square and yet away from all the rush. Overall, very good but also a bit pricey.
