9.4/10 Exceptional! (2,838 reviews)
This is the third time I have stayed at Sea Containers and this thrid time was just a little disappointing compared to the other two. I has emailed ahead to request a room on a high floor and was given the 3rd floor which is as low as you can be I think, so my request was just ignored, Also the receptionist who checked us in mumbled in a strong accent and I had to keep asking her to repeat herself which was embarassing and awkward. she was not welcoming (normally the reception staff are friendly and chatty but she was neither). We didn't really use the amenities as we were so busy but I have had breakfast there before and used the cinema which were both lovely. It's a pity the cinema isn't open other than at weekends though.
The room (385) was fine, nothing to write home about, it was adequate for our requirements and it was clean. Cleaning staff were lovely and always polite. there was a very annoying flickering light outside our room which wasn't fixed. room service was excellent.
