Stay before joining Intrepid tour to the Bungles

The Lodge was a great place to meet fellow travellers of all ages and nationalities. Staff friendly and very helpful. Laundry facilities most welcome at this stage of my trip.

Pre Kimberly Trip.

This Hostel is a great place to stay. Very friendly with lots to do ant lots of travel info for Broome. Loved staying here. Best showers top floor.

Nothing wrong with this place.

All our needs satisfied for an interim stay st great rate. Booking process, confirmation and updates excellent. We never usually stay in a YHA style, but overall attractive c/w bar, light brekky, pool and nice adventurous fellow guests. Location was great and an easy walk from airport.

Although I had personal challenges the staff were accommodating and friendly and overall stay was enjoyable. I had some concerns as an 87 year old in a YHA establishment but had no problems mixing with the younger ones.

The staff were pleasant and well-mannered and came from a variety of countries! The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. However, amenities were basic and perhaps the bathroom could've been updated. Food prices were a wee bit high, as were alcoholic beverages.

Decent hostel, BUT…

The price was right, but definitely a bit more rowdy than other YHA hostels in Australia. Not a family friendly atmosphere, with heavy drinking & substance abuse by most of the young clientele (many smokd up right in the common area). The hostel staff are amazing, though. There’s a bit of a problem with long term residents here, so my room was piled with someone’s boxes and personal effects - barely an inch to walk. Would I stay again? Probably only in a private room. This was by far the rowdiest hostel I stayed at in Australia, so just know what you’re getting into. Despite the young and immature crowd, the facilities were generally well appointed, with a spacious common kitchen, a daytime hours pool, and an excellent location just a stone’s throw from Broome airport and the bus stop to Cable Beach. So, don’t be deterred, but just keep in mind who you’ll be staying with

Expedia list double room amenities with bathroom. There is no room bathroom, only shared communal M&F bathroom. This is an old YHA hostel, don't expect too much, it is what it is.
