Really friendly and helpful owners. Very well equipped, particularly the kitchen.

Nick was a terrific host. Beautiful views from upstairs living area. Within walking distance of places to eat. Parking on site.

Great location to Falls Creek

Very comfortable lodgings for self catering. Extra care taken by hosts to ensure needs are met. Would stay again.

High country stay

Hotel is a blast from the past with modern conveniences, clean and comfortable. Being self contained with a kitchen was great for us, and the living area was roomy. Bed was comfortable also.

Great place to stay enjoy the view and relax

the place was clean and tidy with spacious living area. It had all the facilities that one would need with a great view. The place was close to everything that you would look for, shops etc. Hosts were extremely helpful in providing suggestions to make our stay even more comfortable. We will be certainly coming back this time with a bigger group. :)

Comfortable and clean

Nice 2 bedrooms holiday unit with kitchen facilities. The hostess is very nice and helpful. Not very modern facilities but comfortable and clean.

Is a great spot to access the Falls Creek Ski resort. Reasonably priced and ability to be self sufficient.And Close to local eateries.

spacious comfortable apartment

This apartment suited our family of a mum with 2 littlies in the bedroom with a double plus a bunk and the grandma in the other bedroom which was large with another double bed. The bathroom was huge with a very welcome spa bath after a day of skiing. The kitchen was also large and well appointed with everything we needed to prepare brekky and dinner. The owner was friendly and helpful with the check in process very fast and easy. There was ample parking. I would highly recommend the Tawonga apartment at Alpenhorn.

2 bedroom 2 level apartment with beautiful views

had 2 night stay in 2 bedroom 2 level apartment. Enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean and well equipped with full kitchen facilities, 6 seat dining table and lounge with beautiful views of the mountains. Great location on the road into Mount Beauty. Town only 2 minutes away. Fantastic restaurant across the road ( Flour + Water). Food was so good we ate there both nights.

Peaceful!

Host Nick was friendly and helpful. Place was immaculately clean. Lovely deck overlooking gorgeous mountain views. Perfect place for quiet peaceful retreat or base for bike riding or bush walking. Town and restaurants within walking distance with a good choice of places to eat. I will definitely be back at Alpenhorn in the not too distant future.

Great for cycling the mountains

We stayed four nights. Great access to Falls Creek for cycling, and other extended rides around Bright, Beechworth, and Happy Valley. Comfortable rooms, two bedrooms downstairs and a kitchen and lounge upstairs. Well set up kitchen, very good wifi, and good tv. Electric blankets on the beds. Two km to Mt Beauty for shopping - very good supermarket, bottle shop, bakery, and choice of coffee shops. Owners very friendly and bike savvy, with good advice about local cycling routes for road and MTB. Quiet and views of Mt Bogong. Would stay again.

An Alpine Experience.

Lovely owners to welcome us. The one bed apartment was big enough to live in permanently! Bathroom recently renovated. The bed and pillows were the best of our holiday. Kitchen appointed for every cooking adventure. Looked out over snow on Mt Bogong after early season chill. Great location (and cheaper than staying in Bright). Tip: Visit Feathertops and Gapsted wineries.

Great for a family

Kids loved the pool which was still open in autumn school holidays. Very friendly staff. Kitchen in the unit was excellent. Beautiful views of mountains. We'll be back for sure.

Take your bike & wineglass and enjoy

Staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Beautiful spot nestled amongst the mountains. Look forward to coming back again soon, hopefully to stay longer than just a weekend.

Nice little hotel

overall it was really good experience but during the daytime upstairs really get hot. it doesn't have a portable air cooler but it can't cope with the heat.

Delightful boutique hotel with only 7 apartments

Karen and Tony were our friendly hosts and run a great little business. Clean, cosy and spacious with seperate bedroom and large lounge and kitchen. Fast internet plus 40 foxtel channels. Every effort has been made to ensure a comfortable stay, including free washing of a bag of The location is perfect, nestled between a handful of great eateries and well appointed shopping district nearby.

Everything you need, in one clean and comfortable apartment. Mountain views, warm owners, cute spot just outside of town. Self-contained, couldn't ask for more.
