Great hostel, one of the best I've stayed in. Room and bathroom were very clean. Friendly reception staff and easy check in/out. The capsule was great, there are blinds on each capsule that gives you a good amount of privacy, very spacious, large cupboard locakble with your room key. Better quality bedding than most hostels I've stayed in. The only downsides were that it would be good to have female only rooms, as a solo female traveller i would always normally opt for female only rooms. The lift was also out of order during my stay so if you require this I'd check ahead of arriving.

This is a good hostel, but be aware that it does not offer female-only rooms. I had booked one, but was surprised to find out they don’t have them. The attendant was very helpful and provided me with a good solution, but it’s important to know this in advance if, like me, that’s a key decision factor.

Pros: (1) Convenient location. (2) The shared space inside the room is spacious, bright, and well ventilated. The capsule-style bed layout with curtains provides good privacy. Each bed features a large personal storage area, along with a locker that works with the room key card, which is both convenient and secure. (3) Clean bathrooms. (4) Breakfast offers a wide variety of options. (5) An elevator is available, and free luggage storage is provided. Cons: (1) Upon check-in, I noticed spotty and light yellow stains on the bedsheet. After reporting this to the staff, I was given a new sheet. However, when I took the towel provided by the hostel to shower, I also found dark red stains on it, so I ended up using my own towel. In addition, I found plastic trash left on the bed by the previous guest. This gave me the impression that not only were the linens not thoroughly cleaned, but the upper bunk area had also not been properly cleaned. (2) The ladder and handrail design for the upper bunk is not very ergonomic. There is no good point to apply force when climbing up, and the sharp angles make it easy to bump your knees when getting in and out of bed. Guests who are not very agile may want to choose a lower bunk. (3) No self-service laundry facilities. (4) Adding soft padding to the horizontal bars of the bed curtains could help reduce noise. (5) Adding hooks inside the shower stalls or on the shower doors would make it more convenient to hang clothes while showering.

I have been in more than 100 hostels in my life, and this was one of the top 3. The capsules give the impression of being in a room, rather than a hostel. Privacy is elevated. The carpet was not very clean, the bedspreads were old, and the elevator broke on the second day. Other than these, no negatives. Highly recommended place to stay.

Wonderful hostel within a ten minute walk to old town. All of the reception staff were very helpful and professional. The bathroom was extremely clean. My room and bed capsule area was also very clean and comfortable. They also provide a very spacious storage locker for all of your belongings. They even allowed me to store my luggage in their storage room for a few hours after I checked out. Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed at.

DO NOT STAY HERE

I would never stay here again. The fact that they offer free ear plugs at check-in was a huge red flag. I booked a single room and you can hear everything. Doors slam, people taking in other rooms. People walking in the corridors. It’s all loud. My first day there the cleaning crew walked into my room unannounced. Let’s luckily I just got dressed. Two out of the four days I was there the water was shut off from 11:00am-2:00pm. The internet connection is terrible. It kept cutting out so if you work remotely like I do it’s not sufficient to do your job. The price may be enticing but it’s not worth it. Negative five stars.
