The hotel did find another available accommodation with a different property in another town and drove our party there - however would have to pay all over again, and none of the amenities important to us. "Nice hotel. Dinner surprisingly tasty for a small hotel but beware it was meant to be cash only which we didn't know so the owner kindly added it to our hotel bill. Rooms nice and comfortable although kids had to sleep in a sofa converted bunk bed. Proprietor is very nice. Parking is ample. "

"The woman at reception was lovely, very nice. The room itself was very clean, the bathroom was spotless. The decor almost made us throw up however. I know they are themed rooms, but classy would have been much nicer than cheap and cheesy. We got the "Hilde" room, based on a movie with Heike Makatsch. The carpets were shag and hot pink (and old and worn) and the headboard was a bunch of fake plastic hot pink flowers"
