"Only here for one night, but will be back. Hotel is deep in the New Forest, but well worth the trek to get to it. Yes, you need transportation, but once there you can be as active for relaxed as you want. Perfect location for a walk in the Forest. We had a room overlooking the forest. Great view with wildlife walking by, very comfortable bed, lovely tea & coffee...New Forest shortbread was delicious. Very comfortable bed. Every was lovely from the check in to our departure and dinner on...

"Perfect 2 night stay with my 88 year old mother! Room & bathroom was spotless, superb bed & bedding. Ate in restaurant first night. Restaurant staff very friendly & helpful. Continental breakfast extensive. Didn’t use the spa. Would definitely recommend "

"Great hotel, has an old school country club feel about it, with lovely grounds to the front overlooking the sea. The night I stayed, there was a fantastic Jazz evening followed by someone playing a few tunes on the babygrand piano (me!). Short walk to the centre and main attractions. Like an oasis in an urban dessert, I cannot recommend it enough. I look forward to a return visit soon."
