Beware!

There was one good thing about this property and that was the fantastic view of Mont Blanc. Would not recommend Le Varet however! Basic accommodation that was not properly prepared for the start of the season, check-in details not provided until after 4pm (despite it stating on the website that we would receive an email 72 hours before). We were aware that no bedding was provided and had requested sheets and towels at additional cost (v expensive). Did not confirm that they were available until after we had left UK. On arrival we found sheets and 8 tiny hand towels. No duvets but some quilts provided (not sure if they are washed between tenants). Only provided with 3 pillows for 4 guests. Worst problem was that there was no water in the apartment when we arrived and because there is no staff in the building we tried to contact the managing agents and hotels.com for support - it was very difficult to actually speak to anyone and when we did eventually get hold of an actual person nobody was particularly helpful. Eventually had to locate the stopcock ourselves which isn’t really acceptable when you have just driven for 12 hours and have arrived tired and hungry! Tried to contact management company several times to request more pillows but didn’t receive any response throughout the stay. Not happy about the lack of support and communication.

Bof !

Tout d'abord, l'accès : aucune indication dans la station pour indiquer le bâtiment de la résidence. Ensuite, si toutes les autres résidences affichent sur leur fronton leur nom bien visible depuis la route, Le Varet se contente d'un nom au-dessus de la porte principale située qui n'est pas visible depuis la route et le parking à proximité. Bref, grosse galère pour trouver le bâtiment. Enfin, l'état général de la chambre est moyen et il ne faut pas regarder de trop prêt la qualité du ménage (poils sur les matelas, projections sur les murs de la SdB, couvertures poussièreuses, etc.) Bref, compliqué d'accès et pas très propre.
