"This hotel sorely needs an update. The poor condition creates a terrible first impression, from the weedy lawn, the dead plants at the front door, the dirty entrance doors. We discussed leaving but persevered. The poor condition of furnishings continues to the room itself, soiled and very shabby chairs ( we wouldn’t sit in them), worn furniture with some missing handles, poor lighting. The room seemed otherwise clean, the bed was quite comfortable and the room had an iron/ board and fridge. It was very cool during our stay but the heat in the hotel had been turned off so we had to ask for a portable heater. Breakfast staff were friendly and they did offer a gluten free station with cereal and bread - much appreciated. Also hot items, fruit, yogurt, breads and pastries were offered. The hotel is well situated near a nice boardwalk trail along the waterfront."
"Staff were nice but the room and hallways could be cleaner. Shower didn’t have good water temperature it was either cold or way too hot. Breakfast was okay but food and crumbs were all over the seats and counter top. It was also hard to find parking when we arrived."
"This was one of our favorite stays that we have had! A delightful property, with a lovely couple that runs the place. The suites are beautiful and well appointed, the beds are wonderful, and the Internet is fast. Breakfast was amazing! Honestly there’s nothing that could have made this stay better. If you’re looking for a place to stay and this is available, seriously; book it."
"Everything was great! The front desk staff were super helpful, especially Paula. The hotel is connected to the city’s recreation centre and has a fabulous pool. My kids were disappointed that they couldn’t go in the hot tub, as it was for 16 and older.
The room was bright and clean. Nothing to complain about."
