Overall clean hotel, pretty loud because it’s right behind the major highway, Outdated rooms, (they didn’t have lamps with usb charging), the sofa bed had major stains in one area. Safe area and around many restaurants. And conveniently off the highway.

Facility was very nice and the employees were very nice. One employee in particular Ramona Jones who is the Food and Beverage Supervisor went out of her way to take care of my family and I. She always had a smile and extremely helpful. She is an attribute to The Hyatt and her alone makes it a rememberable experience. Her alone helps bring people back and is an attribute to the organization.

We stayed at the Hyatt at Medford Massachusetts. Check in date 6/10/2024 - 6/14/2024 Smell of mold in the room Shower water does not drain Team Member 1 arrived Monday evening at 11:30 pm. She was assigned a room, the smell of mold was intolerable, and Felipe at front desk changed her room. Second Room was even worse , but since she was traveling for 6 hours prior, she didn’t have the strength to change rooms again. The hotel was at full capacity we were told.. Television did not work. The room darkener shades were ripped so the lamps and sunlight came in room very early in the morning and she was not able to get a good sleep. Guest 2 Smell of Mold in Room Guest 3 When checked in the smell of gas very strong in the room. The window does not open in the room so there was no way of getting fresh air. Tuesday evening an employee said the smell is coming from the laundry rooms exhaust system. The odor of mold and gas was horrific. Nothing hotel could do for all 3. Saw a Bug in the shower and left for airport late at night to avoid staying additional evening there Since we are working until after 9pm nightly there was no management to speak with. We have stayed at Hyatt hotels in the past with no issues, this was extremely upsetting and uncomfortable. Be caucious when booking here

My stay at the property was to say the least not very welcoming. The ac in my room did not work, kept making sounds and would then shut off. I spoke to the front desk they agreed to take a look at it and it was still messed up. Go to front desk again, they switch my room and agree I can move my things when I get back from my event. I get back from my event, my room door is opened and unlocked, I pack my things and go to my new room to be settled before I complained to front desk. Once I try to unlock my new room I was given earlier in the day at 3pm, it’s being occupied by someone who told me the same thing happen to her. Here I go again with all my things back down to front desk where I’m given the news my new room was given away because they THOUGHT I didn’t want to change rooms since my belongings were still in the room. First of, I was given a new room before leaving for an event, I come back my door is unlocked and open and because my belongings were there to you that means I want to sleep in a hot ass room. They basically spent the time blaming the person who wasn’t there anymore and that I couldn’t be given a new room because they were completely booked. The incompetentence of the people that worked there blew my mind. The fact that my door was completely open was a violation of my privacy. Who knows for how long it was open for??? Never again. The mana get couldn’t even apologize he blamed the person that switched my room earlier because he wasn’t there.

I stayed for 3 nights. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and super helpful. They stocked me with extra towels and made my bed daily upon request. The included breakfast was fresh, good, and varied a little from day to day. The only downside is that the hotel wasn’t near a T station (underground). But I would definitely stay there again.

Hyatt Place Medord was home for my sons and I & my brother and his family while we visited for a funeral. The check in process was flawless. The staff member who checked us in was even able to put my room and my brother's room on the same floor. The indoor pool was very nice. The water was warm and the kids played in there until they got all wrinkly. Breakfast was nice every morning. It wasn't the same items every day which was very nice. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast options. No complaints there. The only issue we did have during our visit was that the hotel did not have enough towels. Our rooms didn't have enough towels for everyone and the front desk didn't have any extra towels for us to use while in the pool. I reserved a room for 4 people and we had 3 body towels and 1 washcloth the whole 3 days we were there. Called the front desk to ask for more and never received them. Overall, our stay was nice. We would definitely stay here again, but we would bring our own washcloths next time.
