Try try!

Very exotic hotel in Georgia. We, six people, enjoyed the stay and the spa and sauna. Very close to the central park and easy to park. Thank you all the staff there.

We choose this hotel as a historic building next to the gates of Borjomi Central Park. As it's a historic building we knew that rooms can't be very big, you have windows opening into the main courtyard and so on. I really liked the old building. We got a parking place for car at the yard of the hotel. We didn't use spa services as we had just a limited time at Borjomi but there were plenty of free times for their small spa. Breakfast room is very beautiful and choice of food was enough for small hotel.

Beautiful facade… so so hotel.

On the positive side, the property is ideally located next to the nature park and on a lovely street with shops and restaurants. The building is really beautiful, but the rooms are average. I would not advise paying for breakfast, which was very disappointing.

This hotel is grossly overrated, The staff and front desk consists of inexperienced staff. The manager was not available to supervise. The restaurant did not have any beef, or chicken, for their listed menu items -- the staff said that they were aware of the continuing problem of food provisioning in the restaurant. No one at the restaurant spoke English. Although the bathroom was modern, the room was far from what was represented in the pictures. Also, the AC did not work. This may have been a good hotel at one time, but it has become neglected and appeared mismanaged.

Super weekend près du parc de Borjomi

Nous avons passé trois jours dans ce magnifique hôtel, les personnes à l’accueil parlent anglais et le lieu est magnifique. Nous avons pu profité du spa (privé, il faut demander un créneau) trois fois 1h30 pendant notre séjour. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est génial (nous l’avons seulement eu 2 matins sur 3, j’imagine que le premier jour étant en décembre l’hôtel n’était pas assez rempli pour le proposer). Possible de profiter du restaurant le soir (la brochure disait jusqu’à 23 mais il fermait à 22h quand nous étions la.) L’hôtel est à deux pas du funiculaire, l’emplacement est idéal.

Great Hotel, even in off-season

With just one small exception, I loved my stay at this hotel. I had several interactions with the reception staff: very friendly and helpful every time. The building is nicely laid out around a courtyard, and is on three floors (I did not notice an elevator). There is an inhouse spa, but I did not take advantage of that facility. The included breakfast was very good, extending to cooked items such as an omelette, served in a well-appointed dining room (I seriously wanted to steal a glass!). The room itself was totally warm (I was there mid-winter) and very comfortable, nicely decorated with a great bed, useful desk and a stocked minibar. Wifi worked flawlessly. There were a couple of English language TV news channels. The hotel is very close to Borjomi Park but there is very little shopping in Borjomi at all, let alone near the hotel (except for souvenirs, honey and the like). I was there to take the cuckoo train, which leaves from the Borjomi freight station, a 2 or 3 km walk up the river. The only point of discomfort was the security guard: he did not seem to take too kindly to me, and was very watchful of me without ever saying a word.

What a great hotel. Magnificent colonial looking. Newly renovated and the staff were great. Bar staff fell a little short as they could not provide cocktails on the menu I really loved this hotel.
