"Hotel Camburi Praia is a very basic hotel in a small, country village 2hrs south-west of Sao Paulo along the coast. I stayed there for a work engagement. Camburi village is a typical of the area; rustic, weather-beaten, but welcoming enough. You should have some basic knowledge of portuguese though to get by. Hotel Camburi Praia is just off the main street running through the village and about 150m from the beach. It's a very basic hotel (my room 34 was a bit dated, but comfortable enough)....

The pool area is a nice touch, with sun loungers perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with a peaceful vibe. Keep in mind that the staff only speak Portuguese, so having a translator is essential if you don’t speak the language."
