"The apartment was clean, spacious, and easily accessible. Everything you need in an apartment for a short stay was available (most importantly coffee and tea and a hot water boiler). We didn't cook, so I don't know how well the stove or microwave worked. There is an AC/heater unit in the bedroom that worked well. They were very quick to respond to any questions through Whatsapp. We didn't find street parking, but there is a free public parking lot at 11 Rue de la Madeleine. The location is...

A unique experience staying in this ancient chateau. Made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived. A comfortable , clean & spacious bedroom with large bed and warm & cosy bedding. A secret library in one of the towers and appropriate furniture. Modern shower room with instant hot water.
Lounge with log fire, coffee & tea making facilities. Simple but very adequate breakfast.
It is so good to see heritage being re-purposed rather than over modernised.

The room was beautiful and comfortable within a very interesting historic building. The area was very attractive and felt safe. Anne was a lovely welcoming host. We’d definitely like to return.

There was also a swimming pool with a patio to the rear of the building however this was never used, weather was only sunny and hot on the day of our arrival but the pool was dirty. If the pool had been clean I would have used it but seeing grit, sand and earth on the bottom of the pool was off putting. Flies were...
