"We arrived after 8 pm and there was no one on-site. I didnt have any awareness of this issue on Expedia. I tried to call the phone number on the door but it went to a message. I got a call back about 10 minutes later. She gave us our room numbers and the passcode to get in. The lodging was very nice inside and I was very happy with that. Traveling so far makes me really uncomfortable when the desk is not staffed when you arrive. Especially in a town with very few hotel resources as a back up. It worked out and I was happy with the results. I recommend this motel but arrive before 8:00 PM To save yourself unnecessary stress."

"We have stayed here many times and the quality and atmosphere has never changed. Brad and Jeff go out of their way to make sure the place is clean, safe and accommodating. We highly recommend staying here. And when you book, request “The Rasberry Room”. You wont regret your decision !!"

"This is a beautiful resort in a quiet mountain setting. We were here during the summer so can't speak to what it is like for a ski vacation but from what we can see it looks conveniently located to the ski runs and there is a gondola that goes from the hotel to the ski resort. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had a beautiful view and I would have given it 5 stars if we could utilize the view full time. Unfortunately the room faced the check in/ drive up to the hotel and so unless you want every guest to see into your room as they drive up, you have to keep your curtains closed most of the time. That was disappointing but when we could keep the curtains open the view was amazing. Service is good and food is good - in room dining is available 24x7 which is a plus. There were a number of times we couldn't reach anyone in guest services or room service however (no one picked up) and so that was a bit frustrating. Other than that service was great and everyone was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the stargazing experience in the hotel's own observatory dome. There is an actual astronomer on staff. We will definitely come back and just pick a different room."
