Houseboats in Bonaire

"Was a nice clean room with great AC. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. The property is laid out in a odd configuration but has a great island vive. Area around resort has construction so detracts a little. Only real issue wa the restaurant closes early, just when you want to eat dinner. Also, poor water pressure in the shower. All in all, I would stay here again. "

"Our stay was 11-days. From the quick WhatsApp replies as we planned our stay to the complimentary airport shuttle, the staff is kind and accommodating. Wi-Fi worked great. Cottage was beautifully decorated and clean. Bathroom had double sink and large shower; bed was comfortable; adequate space for clothes and getting suitcases up out of the way. I was fortunate to receive a tour of other accommodations and all of them had large bathrooms, lots of built-in storage and appealing decor. The grounds are stunning! The amenities: gym and pools are very nice. A bit disappointing that there wasn’t a yoga instructor in the beautiful open air studio. My husband was pleased with his diving experience including skills of the crew. I can’t say enough about the staff: Victor, Tipsy and Jim made our stay extra special. The Michelin Key is well deserved. It’s truly a world class resort and far exceeded our expectations on a tiny little island in the Caribbean. "

"Had an ocean view, but the room was outdated and needs updating. The pillows were old and worn out. They use half bedding on the king beds which I had never seen before. Power was out for most of my last day there, no a/c or Wi-Fi. Some of the staff were pleasant and outgoing, while some looked like they were not happy with their job. Great snorkeling at 18th Palm."

"We had a room with a view, but the palapa in front obstructed much of the view. The rooms were clean and utilitarian, but the balcony was spacious. The restaurant served good food, but it would have been nice if they served breakfast. The beach was across the road, but it was a beautiful beach. Minimal parking but there was free parking on the street. "

"No ocean view. Parking lot view, old uncomfortable outdoor patio furniture, terrible cooking appliances and construction next door for premium price! Way overpriced!!! Cooking pots outdated and old. "

"We stayed a week in a compact, but very well designed studio with kitchenette. Wifi and A/C were good. We were lucky to have a ground floor end unit for added privacy on our porch. The pool was smallish, but a great amenity to have. Comfortable poolside loungers and an honour bar. Staff were pleasant and helpful. There are restaurants within walking distance, but Bonaire is best with access to a vehicle. There’s access to the water across the street at Bachelors Beach. Cons: The motion activated fan/light in the toilet room. Most of the time it’s great, but when you want to go in the middle of the night you get snapped wide awake with blinding light and deafening fan - ugh - really unpleasant. Also, the room cleaners came so early. The first time was 9am, okay fine, we’d just finished breakfast and felt a bit hurried out, but the 2nd time was 8:05am. We literally woke up at 8 and 5 minutes later they’re tapping on the glass - yikes. Overall though, a pleasant stay. "

"I did not have a view of the ocean or pool. But the room is nice, modern and clean. Arrived really late they order my dinner for me which was nice. There was no bottled water in the room ( as usual) was told by front desk that they could not provide to drink from the sink. Overall ok but I wish VIP perks were delivered. "
