"Had a lovely stay. Was a last minute trip to join family. The staff were so welcoming and helpful with great tips on what to see and where to go. Was lovely and quite at the guest house with a short walk to the main sites and attraction. As i single women i felt very safe out walking in the neighborhood. Had a single traditional room and was done beautifuly, charming and characterful. With lovely touches of the modern world (bedside lamp with wirless phone charger) A great place for live music...

"Literally round the corner from buses to airport & minutes walk into the city. Bought a ‘leap’ ticket to get me around on buses & trams, value for money. Quick check in, friendly staff. All areas of hotel spotless. Room lovely, clean & whilst compact more than adequate for my needs. Breakfast was great with fresh variety of products available everyday. Was able to store my luggage for the day after checkout for no extra cost, perfect for my early evening flight home. I would not hesitate to...

It is not for somewhat wanting ultra modern, it is for the traveller who wants comfort, cleanliness, predictability, non-pretentiousness and friendly helpful staff (long time staf - as in 25 yr of service). The restaurant and bar has customers that come often for dinner and a pint. And they nod and say hello. And chat or discuss or help you. Comfortable . I felt cared for and looked after and remembered (the staff remembered even my room number!). I will come again...
