"Friendly staff! We dropped off our bags and were able to explore the city before check in. Good breakfast. Had a patio with fans to cool off on the evenings. Servers were attentive. Front desk was also able to get us a taxi on the way to the airport early in the morning."

"After a very disappointing experience at another hotel in Bologna, Hotel Bologna Airport was a huge relief for our family. We booked this hotel at the last minute after our previous hotel was unable to provide a room with working air conditioning, and we needed a comfortable place to rest before our early morning flight to London. The front desk staff were efficient and helpful, quickly arranging two rooms for our family of four and scheduling the paid airport shuttle for the next morning. The check-in process was smooth despite our late arrival. Although we were only able to stay for about six hours before leaving for the airport, we immediately appreciated the clean, comfortable rooms, cold and fully functioning air conditioning, and very comfortable beds. The hotel also offers complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, which was a thoughtful touch before our early departure. Unfortunately, our stay was too short to enjoy the hotel's other amenities. The overall comfort, cleanliness, and atmosphere reminded us of staying at a Marriott or Hilton in the United States."

"Due to problems with the German train system, we had to stop in Bologna for the night. We arrived at 1:50 am. The man who came to the door was so polite and considerate. The lobby was spotless, check-in was simple, the room was smartly designed, plenty of towels and amenities in the bathroom, and the shower was fabulous. Breakfast the next morning was good, would have been great if the coffee had been hot. The called us a taxi to take us to the train station—there in 10 minutes. They were just some of the nicest people after one of our worst travel days ever. "

"It's right in front of the central train station. Takes about 20 min to walk to the old town main cathedral where all the action are. So if you are travelling by train, this is perfect. Enough restaurants nearby. Grocery store about 10mins but you need to find them. Breakfast is maybe 7 or 8/ 10"

"I am glad it was one of the newer hotels especially in light of the heat wave during my stay. The airconditioning was strong. While breakfast didn't have variety day to day, it was good and offered broad choices. Staff was very helpful on a wide range of inquiries and requests. Great location too across the Bologna Centrale Station"

"One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because of the €20 food and beverage credit that I assumed I could use for the breakfast buffet. You cannnot. You can use it at the restaurant and bar for lunch or dinner, but not the breakfast buffet. Expedia should have mentioned this. The hotel is old and the decor shows it. The rooms are dated but comfortable. It’s in a good location but I honestly would not stay here again."
