Spacious room but bed had clearly not been moved as there was rubbish under it
Stayed in 551 - no warning that despite double glazing you hear every word of announcements at line st station - try and stay at front of hotel. Check in staff were very helpful. The young male who checked us out needed a little bit more training. Good bar attached to hotel. Didn’t eat there but restaurant was quite busy.

This hotel was chosen because it is directly opposite the Philharmonic. It was perfect in every way. We have been to Liverpool many times and it is convenient for sightseeing and shopping.

Lovely hotel. Feels new and fresh. Huge room.there was a king bed and large single in a separate alcove. Good heating controls, lights and sockets. Full length mirror with light and socket for the hairdryer - a convenience so often missed by hotels. Big bathroom with rainfall and handheld showers. Entry at all levels with key card. Kept my bags before and after check-in/out. Location very central right next to Liverpool One but up a lane so was quiet. Fab

Booked a standard double but it was very small. I would call it more like an economy room. Mirror in bedroom not in a good place and was small. The bed was very firm and not very comfortable. Otherwise the place was very clean, all staff very friendly and helpful, location is very good.

The hotel is so old and was falling apart. The pool was in a sketchy basement with the lining of the pool coming up and bubbling. Our room had a shower with only hot water, springs poking out of the mattress and a toilet that didn't Flush. DO NOT stay here it's awful. s
