Fairfield Inn & Suites Gallup
8/10 Good
"Thaw room and the property were wonderful. Unfortunately the only elevator in the building was out of order and the guest had to carry our own luggage to the upper floors. The staff did not offer any assistance. The work out room was not available because the battery on the electronic door was not working. The staff did not have a maintenance technician to fix the problem. Only a couple of the staff members were willing to help. The others didn’t want you to bother them. The hotel sent me a number of messages prior to my arrival to check in early but not one message informing me of the elevator not being in use or giving me the option to cancel my reservation and get a full refund. When I arrived they assumed I was aware of the elevator situation and just continued as if it is now my problem since the room was prepaid."

"Our stay in Gallup, N.M. was an unexpected occassion to visit part of the old Rte. 66. This was a rest stop on our road trip from Michigan. Our accomadations were good and the staff was very helpful. Breakfsat was excellent and there were even made to order omelets as well as the usual offerings. We had good stay and loved the area."
Southwest Motel
10/10 Excellent
"This little motel was fantastic! It is bright and colorful so immediately shows the owners have pride in their property. When we arrived, the woman who checked us in walked us down to the room so she could how us where the light switches were, how to operate the AC, etc. She was very nice and extremely helpful. The room was immaculately clean and the bed was super comfortable. The coffee was much better than regular hotel coffee and I appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room. I would definitely recommend staying here."

Motel 6 Grants, NM

"This is a great Motel 6. The room was updated and clean. The sheets were crisp, I loved it. The downside is the fan in the bathroom that comes on at the same time as the light. The sound was load and so annoying."
