Checked in February 20 (Northern Ontario) there was no heat on in the room!! When you know you have guests coming, turn on the heat for them. Curtains were too thin so all of the outside light from the sidewalks filtered into the room and it was very bright for sleeping.

I know it was a holiday weekend, but surely someone should be available to speak to. Couldn't get the heating system working properly. Unable to get any more supplies for the room..ie :kleenex TP, extra towels Not pleased with this place, especially for the price!!

Friendly and clean, efficient. Good value.
Overall, very good. Everything we needed. Staff was attentive, the beds and bedding were comfortable. Complementary water and coffee in the room. Finishes were up to date and the room was clean, however, unfortunately the flooring was lifting in one spot - did not affect our comfort. Unable to comment on the attached restaurant. Would stay again.

The lady at the front desk was very nice, the room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We were only there for one night, but I would definitely stay there again!

Good Short Stay
Was a great place to stay at along our journey. We needed somewhere to sleep and the place was clean and staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable.

Not clean at all , no microwave, not hair dryer .. the AC was very noisy and the worst was they got into my room while i am gonfor breakfast at 10 am when the check out time is 11 am .. i came back and my room was open .. thankfully i did pick up my important items with me in my car .. otherwise they could of been lost

Clean and quaint
It’s roadside motel so not expecting a lot. It was just fine except water took a while to get hot in afternoon. It was fine at 7am. Better blackout curtains needed. Quieter than Lakeview Inn because rooms further from highway, but prefer Lakeview by a bit.

Nice remodeled rooms
Rooms are nicely remodeled and clean. Good value and comfortable stay. Great stay for a night on our road trip.

Conveniently located off main highway in Blind River. Rooms have been updated and were clean. Coffeemaker and small fridge in the room. Good value and met my needs for a standard motel while travelling. Would recommend.

This is an old place with minimal updates. No maid service for our two night stay. No plug in bathtub. Dark and dingy. Host was pleasant at check in.

Friendly hosts. Renovated rooms. My sheet was stained and a big beetle in the bathroom. Otherwise, they're doing well to upgrade. On-site restaurant was ok for dinner.

I was pleasantly surprised with this property. The reviews were mixed but I would definitely recommend as the rooms are immaculate, a priority for me. The bathroom is outdated but clean. The drain was slow on the bathtub but not a big deal, I’m sure the host is well aware as this is an old property. Would definitely stay here again if I were passing through.

Fine for overnight stay
Attached restaurant was nice, I had a pleasant dinner there. Despite being just off the highway my room was quiet. Certainly the base is a classic dated motel but they are doing their best to keep it up.

This was a very clean and comfortable roadside motel just off the TransCanada highway which made it a great stop on our road trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, the beds and linens were very good quality and it was quiet at night.
